Gary Neville: Alexis Sanchez Can Win Man United The Premier League Title

Alexis Sanchez will bring the required quality to Manchester United to help them win the Premier League title for the first time since 2013.

That is the view of Sky Sports pundit and legendary Manchester United right-back Gary Neville.

Arsenal Star Alexis Sanchez looks set to complete a move to United in the next 24 hours.

Reports claim the Red Devils have won the race to sign the Chilean, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan heading in the opposite direction.

Neville is a huge fan of Sanchez and reckons he will bring immediate improvement to United if he arrives.

And he claims they will have a great chance of winning the title next season with the addition of the 29-year-old in their squad.

“He would improve them straight away,”Gary Neville said.

“Ultimately he’s 25 goals a season, he’ll hit the ground running because he knows the Premier League and he’s a bit of a certainty.“

Manchester United at the moment to be fair they need short-term success, they need to win a league.

“I don’t think they’ll win the league this season. I think City will win the league.

“But I think in the next 18 months, he’s a step towards that.

“(Marcus) Rashford and (Anthony) Martial at this moment are still developing, (Romelu) Lukaku has hit a bit of a thing but he will score 20-25 goals.

“With Sanchez in there you’ve got another 25 goals, that’s big.”
