Barcelona Star Andres Iniesta Makes Big Neymar Transfer Claim

Andres Iniesta admits he would be bothered if Neymar moved to Real Madrid.

Neymar left Barcelona in the summer after four years in Spain to join Paris Saint Germain for a world transfer record fee.

But the Brazilian’s time in Paris has been blighted by rumours of rows with manager Unai Emery and team-mate Edinson Cavani and this week, he left France to fly to Brazil and deal with a family emergency.

Neymar’s problems have led to speculation he could join Real Madrid.

And Iniesta admits he hopes the prospect of seeing his former team-mate playing for their bitter rivals is just hypothetical.

Iniesta said: “I would be indifferent, it's not something that matters to me in that sense.

“But maybe it would bother me because I understand that he is a unique and decisive player and our biggest rivals would be reinforced, but this is hypothetical.

“In football anything can happen. If it happens, we'll see.”

Last week, Madrid president Florentino Perez claimed Neymar’s aims for winning the Ballon d'Or would be “easier” if he played for them.

“Being in Madrid would make it easier to win the Ballon d'Or,” Perez told Spanish radio.

“Madrid is a club that gives a big player everything they need to do so.

“Everyone knows I wanted to sign him.”
