James Rodriguez: Bayern Munich Can Win The Champions League This Season

James Rodriguez has stated that Bayern Munich “can dream” about winning the UEFA Champions League this season after mercilessly dismantling Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

James was the chief architect of a stunning first-half display from Bayern, scoring once and setting up another two as Jupp Heynckes’ men led 5-0 at the break before Robert Lewandowski completed his hat-trick late on in a Der Klassiker masterclass.

The crushing defeat of Dortmund,who lost for the first time in 13 league matches under new coach Peter Stöger, made up for the disappointment provoked by Schalke’s 2-0 defeat of Freiburg Earlier in the day that meant Bayern could not clinch the title on Matchday 28.

With a 17-point lead over the Royal Blues with six games left, Jupp Heynckes’ men will claim their club’s 27th Bundesliga crown with victory at Augsburg next time out.
